Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), consumers have the right to request that businesses delete the personal information they have collected about them. This is known as the "Delete My Data" option.
When you select "Delete My Data & Account," we are legally required to honor your request and delete your personal information from our records.
What happens if you delete your data
- Your info will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- You forfeit any unredeemed cash balance in your Surveys account
- Your Surveys account will remain, but you won't be able to log into it
- Your responses to past surveys will remain
- Payday and Digital Surveys members will be withdrawn from the program
How to request "Delete my Data"
- Make sure your Surveys On The Go app is up-to-date
- Locate the "Privacy Center" section on your Profile page
- Select the "Delete My Data & Account" request
- Input your name (as it appears on your Profile page in the Surveys app) in the pop-up "Are you sure?" section
Just so you know, your request will be processed within 45 days, and you will receive an email to the email address associated with your SOTG account.
