General Information
Upon redemption, a Virtual Prepaid Visa Card with a 16-digit number will be sent to your payout email address. This card is designed for online use only and can be used in the US where prepaid cards are accepted. However, it cannot be used with PayPal or similar services that transfer funds between accounts. If you wish to use the card for in-store purchases, you will need to request a physical card.
Redeeming Your Visa Card
To redeem your balance, select the 'Redeem now' option on the payment methods screen in your Earned tab. If it's your first time redeeming via Visa, you'll be prompted to update your Payout Info. The only required field is the payout email, which will be pre-filled with your login email, but you can change it to any email where you’d like to receive your Visa Virtual Card.
After updating, you'll need to verify the new email address. Once verified, return to the Earned tab and select 'VISA'. You will receive a confirmation email with your Visa payment.
Activating Your Visa Card
- Go to MyPrepaidCenter.com/redeem and enter the unique code from the confirmation email.
- Click 'Redeem Code'.
- Select either a virtual or physical prepaid card (note: there is a $3.00 fee for a physical card).
- Enter your name, address, email, and phone number, then agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Your card details will appear on the screen, or a confirmation of your physical card order will be emailed to you.
You have six months to redeem your reward. After receiving your card, you can easily check its expiration date by visiting MyPrepaidCenter.com.
Using Your Visa Card
1. Online Shopping:
- Ensure the balance on the card is greater than the total cost of the purchase, including taxes. Some transactions may require a hold of up to 20% above the purchase amount (refer to your Cardholder Agreement for details).
- Choose 'Credit' as the payment method (do not select 'Gift Card').
- Enter your card information like a regular credit or debit card.
- Fill in the billing address section with your name and address.
2. In-Store Shopping:
To use the card in a physical store or restaurant, you must request a physical card since the virtual card cannot be used in person. Follow these steps to request your physical card:
- Log into My Prepaid Center and complete the registration form (if not done already).
- Visit MyPrepaidCenter.com/redeem, and log in with the username and password you created during the redemption process.
- Go to 'My Cards', click on “View Details”, then select 'Request Plastic Card'.
- Complete the form with your name and mailing address, then click 'Send my card'.
Important Notes:
- Once the card is converted to plastic, it cannot be converted back to virtual. However, if the physical card is not activated, the virtual card can still be used.
- There is a $3.00 fee for processing and shipping the physical card, which will be deducted from your balance.
- Physical cards are shipped via the United States Postal Service as First Class Mail in an unmarked envelope. Delivery can take 7-14 business days, or 3-5 business days with expedited shipping for a $20 fee (deducted from your card).
- Please check with the merchant before your transaction, as not all merchants accept prepaid cards.
